What does the Employee Schedule Generator do?
It assigns team members to the shifts you create, considering their available weekdays, role and maximum weekly hours. It tries to balance assigned hours and identifies shifts it could not fully cover.
Can I change a generated schedule?
Yes. Use the assignment editor to change or remove a team member. The planner checks availability, role, overlapping shifts and the weekly hour cap before accepting an assignment.
Does it handle overnight shifts?
Yes. An end time earlier than or equal to the start time is treated as the next day. Employees must be available on both weekdays. Review the following week too when a Sunday shift runs into Monday.
Can I print or export my rota?
Yes. Print the weekly schedule or choose Save as PDF in your browser print dialog. You can also export a CSV of assignments, including uncovered staffing slots.
Where is my team information stored?
In local storage in this browser on this device. There is no cloud account or cross-device sync in this edition. Export a backup before clearing site data.
Is the cost estimate a payroll calculation?
No. The estimate is scheduled hours after unpaid breaks multiplied by the hourly rates you enter. It excludes tax, overtime premiums, benefits, paid-break rules and other payroll costs.
Can I buy a subscription now?
Plan selection leads to a checkout review. Live payment and service activation are not connected in this package. The website does not collect card details or create a paid subscription.
Will staff receive the schedule automatically?
No. Export a PDF or CSV and share it yourself. Automatic email, shift swaps and team logins are not included in this local edition.
